Premier Physical Therapy in Broomall houses a great staff of professionals dedicated to providing the community with orthopedic treatment and recovery solutions. Each licensed physical therapist has the experience to evaluate patients, diagnose their injuries, and create treatment programs.

After being evaluated by one of Premier’s physical therapists, patients will receive treatment programs specifically designed for them and their injuries. The physical therapists will explain the treatment programs to the patients, discuss goals, and continue working with patients throughout the course of treatment to ensure results.

The physical therapists at Premier have attended some of the best medical programs and have extensive experience in sports medicine and orthopedic therapy. They desire to provide high-quality care to patients to get them back to their normal activities as soon as possible. They utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques to treat their patients and educate them to help them understand their injury and prevent reoccurrence.

To achieve goals set by patients and physical therapists, the facility has state-of-the-art equipment, including the Keiser hydrolytic strengthen machine and the lumbar extension machine. This equipment is utilized throughout treatment.

Some of the services that Premier Physical Therapy specializes in include the following:

  • Anterior cruciate ligament rehabilitation
  • Athletic injury prevention/sports prep program
  • Athletic training
  • Biodex testing and rehabilitation
  • McKenzie cervical/lumbar programs and extremities
  • Rotator cuff rehabilitation
  • Selective functional movement assessment: This comprehensive assessment is used to identify injury-inducing movement patterns. It directs the clinician to the appropriate manual and therapeutic exercise choices.
  • Graston technique: This procedure allows the physical therapist to detect and treat areas of scar tissue or adhesions in muscles, tendons, and ligaments, which can reduce range of motion and cause pain, in an effort to decrease pain and improve function following an injury or other debilitation. The technique uses stainless steel instruments and specific soft-tissue mobilization combined with rehabilitative exercises to improve musculoskeletal function.
  • Balance rehabilitation: This program is designed to overcome symptoms of vertigo, concussions, dizziness, lightheadedness, and imbalance. It aids in retraining the vestibular system to accommodate physical changes and restore balance within the body.

Premier Physical Therapy in Broomall is located on the same floor as Surgical Orthopedic Associates. This allows physical therapists to work with surgeons to determine a patient’s recovery process after a procedure. If a patient’s needs are beyond the scope of Premier Physical Therapy’s offerings, Premier has 14 other locations across Delaware and Chester counties that may offer a service this location doesn’t.

Premier Orthopaedics offers three locations for patients to receive an MRI, with radiologists who specialize in orthopaedic injuries. They also offer a patient shuttle service to the locations in Haverford, West Chester and Exton on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
